Matt Trovato Md

A native of New Jersey, Dr. Trovato earned his B.A. cum laude in Spanish and Latin American Studies and Biochemistry at Duke University and went on to graduate from New Jersey Medical School. He completed general and plastic and reconstructive surgery training at NJMS, hand and microsurgery subspecialization at the Buncke Clinic, facial aesthetic subspecialization under John Q. Owsley, M.D. in San Francisco, and pediatric and craniofacial subspecialization at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Annals of Plastic Surgery, the European Journal of Plastic Surgery, Microsurgery, Cutis, ePlasty, the Journal of Vascular Surgery, the Journal of Surgical Research, and the Journal of Hand Surgery, and has authored book chapters in aesthetic surgery, body contouring, extremity replantation, facial trauma, and facial reconstruction.
